50 cc Premier: Riders up to 8 years old on chain drive motorcycles.
50cc Junior:  Riders up to 8 years old on shaft drive motorcycles.

Money Classes
65cc: riders aged up to 11 years old

85cc: riders aged up to 15 years old

65cc -200cc: rider ages 7 and up. Two stroke or four stroke.

100cc Mod 4 stroke: Riders ages 7 and up

125cc: Riders up to 15 years old

250cc: four and two strokes up to 250cc, Riders age 12 and older.

OPEN A: two or four strokes over 249cc. Riders ages 12 and older to ride a 250 and 14 years or older to ride 450cc or larger.

450 Pro: AMA Pro and Expert Licensed Riders only. 450cc bikes only. DTX and framers.

OVER 30: Any rider 30 year and over on a flat track motorcycle

OVER 50: Any rider 50 years and over on a flat track Motorcycle

COMBO: Amateur and AMA Pro or Expert riders. Two or four strokes over
249cc. Riders must be ages 12 and older to ride a 250 and 14 years or older to ride 450cc or larger.

SPEEDWAY: Speedway motorcycles, no brakes, rear suspension, or transmission running on methanol. Minimum of 16 years old for 500, 13 for 200cc machine

Youth/Trophy Classes
Youth ATV : riders 15 years and under. 0-90cc two stroke, or 0-125cc four stroke.  Modifications Allowed


Adult/Money Class
ATV 2: Riders ages 16 years and older. Two or Four stroke 91cc – 250cc.

Open ATV: Riders ages 16 years and older. 251cc and up

Rookie Class
•Ages up to 10 years old
•265 pound minimum weight
•Clone red plate
•Flathead purple plate
•Animal purple plate

Junior Class
•Ages up to 10 to 15 years old
•320 pound minimum weight
•Clone purple plate
•Flathead gold plate
•Animal gold plate

Junior LO 206
•Ages 10 to 15 years old
•320 pound minimum weight
•206 engine
•Briggs engine rules

Senior Animal
•Ages 15 and up
•370 pound minimum weight
•WKA engine rules

Senior Clone
•Ages 15 and up
•370 pound minimum weight
•AKRA engine rules

Senior LO 206
•Ages 15 and up
•370 pound minimum weight
•206 engine
•Briggs engine rules

No Pro Junior
•Ages up to 15 years old
•Engine must look and appear stock from the outside. No Tillotson carbs.
•No 2-stroke engines

No Pro Senior
•Ages 15 years and older old
•Engine must look and appear stock from the outside. No Tillotson carbs.
•No 2-stroke engines

No Pro Open
•Ages 15 years and older
•Any engine combination permitted


Tire Rules
• Open tire rule in all classes
• No “wet tires” will be permitted in the grid area.

General Rules
•Kid kart drivers can only compete in that class.
•Drivers can be evaluated by track personnel to move up before meeting minimum age requirements but
must meet minimum driver weight requirements:
•Junior drivers must meet minimum body weight of 70 lbs.
• Senior drivers must meet minimum body weight of 120 lbs.
•Once a Rookie or Junior driver moves up in class during a season they cannot drop back down.
•Age will be accessed on January 1st 2017. Drivers can move up midseason if qualifying birthday occurs during the season. Birth certificate maybe required.
•Open tire all classes.







Motorcycle and ATV Rules
Lawrenceburg Motorcycle Speedway is NOT AMA SACTIONED. All Lawrenceburg racing is all out -law racing.We do follow the AMA rule book as a comman guideline for everyone. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

• All weight must be painted white with kart numbers on it.
• Full body cover, neck brace, gloves and approved helmet must be worn by all drivers.
• All money classes subject to tech
• Top 3-5 will go to tech every week
• If you fail tech twice you will be banned for 3 weeks
• Fuel must be clear alcohol in Briggs engines and 87 octane gasoline in clones.
• All containers must be properly labeled.
• All karts are subject to safety inspection before entering race track
• Exposed flames for purpose of “burning in” tire prep is prohibited.
• No fighting on track or premises, obscene language and gestures will not be tolerated.

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE NUMBERS AND NUMBER PLATES MINIMUM 6in`

Bike - Font and side Number plates with your number!

ATV - Front and back Number plates with your number!

Karts - Numbers on the kart in the front, sides and back wioth your number!

If we are unable to see your number we will be unable to score you!

* Any Discussion about race results will be AFTER ALL races!

House Rules

  • Referee's ruling / Judgment is final!
  • No swearing or vulgar language.
  • No fighting or physical contact will be tolerated.
  • Trash talking/taunting is prohibited!
  • No Arguing with track staff or officials and other participants.
  • No pit riding or racing.
  • No burnouts on or off the track.
  • Racers are responsible for the pit crew.
  • No Alcohol in pits!


These offenses will result in a suspension or fine!
